Recertification

To maintain certification as an IACUC professional, a CPIA must recertify every five (5) years from the time of the most recent certification.

Recertification may be achieved either by:

Re-taking and passing the CPIA examination, or
Completing certain professional development and continuing education activities as described in the recertification guidelines and then completing the recertification application.
