Online Conference Portal: Proceedings and Handouts

Conference Proceedings

For the first time, the 2009 AER Conference Proceedings include video and audio components of four keynote addresses, 12 panel discussions, three debates, two living room conversations, and one town hall meeting. This means you can see and hear the speakers while their slides are up on the screen as you access the inspiring, vibrant, and in-depth content of the meeting.  Not sure what we mean?  Here’s an example.

Wondering what else is inside? The conference proceedings are composed of three major sections:

  • About the Conference – Program, abstracts, attendee list, photos, and more
  • Educational Materials – More than 125 background and resource articles and documents
  • Conference Sessions – Video and audio recordings, session handouts, and faculty biographies

If you attended the conference, you can find your individual code using this link.

If you did not attend the conference and would like to buy full access to the online Conference Portal, please fill out this form and return it to PRIM&R via e-mail or via fax, at 617.423.1185.

Conference Handouts

This year, handouts and articles of interest for the conference sessions, including keynotes, panels, and workshops will be available exclusively on the online Conference Portal.  Here’s how to access the handouts*:

1. Open your internet browser; go to the 2009 AER Conference Portal.  

2. Enter your keycode and click Continue.  Don't have your keycode? Request one through the link on the Conference Portal login page.

3. Click Session Materials.

4. Click Search by Day or Search by Track to find the session.

5. If handouts are available for that session, a link will be included that says View Handout or View Resource.

6. Download the handouts to your computer or print them for your personal use.
