Volunteer Opportunities
Many of the events that take place at our March conference cannot happen without the help of dedicated volunteers. Consider volunteering in one (or more!) of the capacities listed below. Common Ground Networking Luncheon Volunteers
Conference Greeters & Keynote/Plenary Session Ushers
PRIM&R Exhibit Booth Attendants
Common Ground Networking Luncheon Table hosts are needed to facilitate discussions and connections at the Common Ground Networking Luncheon on Monday, March 22, from 12:30-1:30 PM. As a table host, you will:
- Work with PRIM&R staff to generate discussion topics and guidelines before the event.
- Facilitate discussion at the event itself, using both discussion guides and participant input.
- Promote PRIM&R membership and programs during the event.
Approximately 50 table hosts are needed. Logistics volunteers are also needed.
As a logistics volunteers you will:
- Assist attendees in finding a table with a similar job title.
- Help those who wish to “just lunch” find a table in the designated area.
- Work with PRIM&R staff to ensure the luncheon runs smoothly.
Approximately four logistics volunteers are needed.
Conference Greeters & Keynote/Plenary Session Ushers
Meet and mingle with friends, new and old! Not only will greeters help to build the PRIM&R community by making attendees feel welcome, they will also have a unique opportunity for networking and making connections. Volunteers may be asked to help attendees find seats at the outset of all panel, plenary, and keynote sessions at the conference. Greeters will be asked to attend one of two brief training sessions in advance of their first shifts: Sunday, March 21 at 4:00 PM or 6:30 PM. Greeters will be stationed in several places throughout the conference venue, and as a greeter, you will:
- Greet conference attendees warmly and maintain a welcoming presence.
- Answer questions when possible, and/or direct attendees to the appropriate staff members.

Approximately 4 volunteers are needed for each shift.
PRIM&R Exhibit Booth Attendants (this volunteer opportunity is open exclusively to PRIM&R members)
Help promote PRIM&R membership by staffing the PRIM&R booth. Introduce attendees to PRIM&R and explain the benefits of being part of our community. Shifts of one to two hours are available at all times while the PRIM&R Resource Room is open (Sunday from 12:00 PM–5:15 PM; Monday from 7:00 AM–7:00 PM; and Tuesday from 7:00 AM–3:15 PM). One to two volunteers per shift are needed.
