About the SBER Conference
The Social, Behavioral, and Educational Research Conference is a one-day conference that includes keynote addresses, panels, and workshops, designed to help build and strengthen effective human subjects protections programs that oversee social, behavioral, and educational (SBE) research. Attendees learn about ethical issues and best practices for the review and monitoring of SBE research, and faculty explore strategies for better understanding how to assess risk, optimizing the flexibility inherent in the federal regulations, and evaluating qualitative versus quantitative research, among other topics.
