    This year, Community Ambassadors (previously "Affinity Group Facilitators") will be hosting two events for you:

    Peer-to-Peer Networking Continental Breakfast *SOLD OUT*
    November 14, 7:00–8:00 AM
    Get a head start on meeting attendees at a breakfast on the first day, before conference sessions begin! From 7:00–8:00AM on November 14, join your peers to discuss how best to take advantage of all AER16 has to offer. Community Ambassadors will be present at each table to help you get to know other attendees. Tables will be divided into the following topics:

    • Career/Leadership/Management
    • Compliance/Federal/Legal/Regulatory
    • Global Research
    • IRB Administrators/Coordinators
    • IRB Chairs
    • QA/QI/Post Approval Monitoring
    • SBER
    • Single IRBs


    Roundtable Discussions
    November 14, 5:15–6:30PM
    Gather with your colleagues to solve problems and share best practices. Tables will be divided by topics and led by a Community Ambassador. Groups will include:

    • Career/Leadership/Management
    • IRB Administrators/Coordinators
    • Compliance/Federal/Legal/Regulatory
    • QA/QI/Post Approval Monitoring
    • IRB Chairs
    • Global Research
    • SBER
    • Single IRBs

    During this activity, participants can present an issue or question they have to the group and group members will respond to the problem or issue presented. Pre-registration is recommended, but attendees may also come onsite to fill any open seats that are still available. Please register online or email us.

    Other Events

    Community Ambassadors will be available at meals and open networking events to answer questions and help you make the most of the conference. Other ways to get involved at the conference include:
