    Certificates of Attendance

A certificate of attendance for AER18 will be distributed to those who complete the conference evaluation, distributed via email at the end of each day. The certificate will be included on the final day's evaluation, sent on November 17.

Certificates of attendance for the preconference programs will be distributed upon completion of the online evaluation for those programs. These will be sent on November 14.

    Continuing Education (CE) Credit

Certificates of attendance are useful for obtaining CE credits from various professional associations. Each association's guidelines for acceptance of conference credit hours may differ. Please consult the appropriate association representative for information as to if, and how many, credits from AER18 may be used for CE. Attendees of the conference can earn up to 21 hours of CE credit. Credit hours for the preconference programs vary.

    Continuing Medical Education (CME) Credit

This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the accreditation requirements and policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) through the joint providership of Boston University School of Medicine and PRIM&R. Boston University School of Medicine designates this live activity for a maximum of 17.5 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

This program includes 17.5 credit hours which meet the criteria of the Massachusetts Board of Registration in Medicine for risk management study. Sessions that meet CME credit requirements will be designated with a green CME icon on the conference agenda.

*NOTE: AER18 Preconference Programs and the AER18 Virtual Meeting are not eligible for CME credit.

    Applying for CME credit

Upon conclusion of the conference, those seeking CME credits must complete an online survey distributed by Boston University School of Medicine (information forthcoming). Attendees must complete the online application within four weeks of the conference to receive a CME certificate. Once the survey is completed, you will be able to instantly download your certificate.

If you have questions about the CME credit application process, contact the Boston University School of Medicine CME Office at 617.358.5005, or via email.
