  • PRIM&R's 2019 SBER and AER Conferences (SBER19/AER19) will take place on November 17-20. Thousands of your colleagues are making plans to join us in Boston, MA this fall, but for those unable to attend in person, PRIM&R is offering the SBER19/AER19 Virtual Meeting, which will include the livestreaming of the conference keynote addresses, plenary sessions, and several breakout sessions (including those geared toward the implementation of the revised Common Rule). Given all the regulatory changes, you don't want to miss this year's conference!

    The Virtual Meeting package includes:

    1. The livestreaming of select sessions on November 17-20

    Virtual meeting attendees will have access to content from both SBER19 and AER19, including: four keynote addresses, 10 plenary sessions, and select breakout session content. Information on which sessions will be streamed can be found in the agenda.

    2. Continuing education and CIP recertification credit

    Attendees of the virtual meeting can earn 61.75 CE credit hours.

    Credit hours may also be used by CIPs who are eligible to recertify by continuing education. The virtual meeting is eligible for up to 55.5 credits that are accredited or have received advance recognition from the Council for Certified IRB Professionals.

    The SBER19/AER19 Virtual Meeting is also a core requirement of the Certificate in the Foundations of Human Subjects Protections program.

    3. Access to the virtual meeting for 30 days after the meeting

    Unable to watch the virtual meeting in real time? Virtual meeting content will be online 24 hours after the session, and will be available for 30 days after the meeting.

    4. Conference recordings and resources

    Virtual meeting attendees will have access to the video and slides from the streamed content, as well as the SBER19 and AER19 breakout session materials. These recordings and resources will be available approximately four weeks after the meeting on the PRIM&R website, and registrants will receive a link for accessing right before the conference.
