    Networking ribbons
    Upon receiving your name badge, be sure to pick up networking ribbons in the registration area. Each ribbon adheres to your badge and displays an informal designation to signify your professional affiliations as they relate to research ethics. This is a great way to find others with similar affiliations and interests.

    Throughout the conference, please stop by the PRIM&R Booth and Resource Tables to learn more about PRIM&R’s programs and services, as well as to learn more about other organizations in the field.

    All those registered to attend a pre-conference program on March 17-18 are welcome to join us for a networking reception immediately following the conclusion of their program. Light refreshments will be served.

    Continental Breakfast to Welcome First-Time Attendees 
    Is this your first time attending the IACUC Conference? If so, please join us at this special breakfast to welcome first-time attendees. During this event, you’ll have an opportunity to meet and network with colleagues, as well as hear answers to the most frequently asked questions about the conference from the PRIM&R staff.     Common Ground Networking Luncheon
    Time to connect…over lunch! Meet peers for conversation and networking.  The tables will be divided by institution type: University/College (Medical), University/College (Non-Medical), Hospital/Medical Center, Government Agency, Pharma/Biotech Company, and Small Research Programs. We will also have tables available for those wishing to “just lunch.” All are welcome!

    2015 IACUC Conference Welcome Reception and Meet and Greet the Supporters, Exhibitors, and Poster Presenters!

    Join us to celebrate the opening of the 2015 IACUC Conference. During this time, you’ll be able to meet our conference Supporters and Exhibitors, view the Poster Presentations, and receive a complimentary mini-massage. Light refreshments will be served.

    Young Professionals Networking Reception

    Connect with other young professionals interested in research ethics and relax after a busy day in Boston at Papagayo Mexican Kitchen and Bar on Summer Street, located just a ten-minute walk from The Westin Boston Waterfront Hotel. Don’t forget to bring the drink ticket you received with your registration materials! While all attendees are welcome, complimentary drink tickets are reserved for young professional registrants.

    Certified Professional IACUC Administrator (CPIA®) Networking Continental Breakfast
    Do you hold the CPIA credential and have an interest in connecting with other CPIAs? If so, please join the CPIA Council and PRIM&R staff at this continental breakfast! We’ll be discussing recertification, and will be answering any of your other questions. Please register online or email us, and we'll be sure to save you a seat! If you do not currently hold the CPIA credential, but are interested in taking the exam or learning more about the program, we invite you to attend the Workshop C7: What Is the CPIA® Credential? Is it for You and, If So, How Do You Prepare? on March 20  from 10:45 AM - 12:00 PM.

    Research Ethics Book Group Lunch and Book Signing with Author and Keynote Speaker Frans B. M. de Waal, PhD
    Participate in a vibrant discussion of The Bonobo and the Atheistby author and keynote speaker Frans B. M. de Waal, PhD, a biologist and primatologist known for his work on the behavior and social intelligence of primates. Attendees will have the opportunity to hear from and participate in discussion with Professor de Waal about his book and his work, and he will be available to sign books during this time. Professor de Waal’s book is available in print and for the Kindle through Amazon.com and copies will be available for purchase onsite.
