    Getting to Columbus

    Columbus central location means it is reachable within a one-day drive or a one-hour flight of nearly half the population of the U.S. and Canada. John Glenn Columbus International Airport (CMH) is the airport of choice for millions of passengers each year and serves a diverse mix of air carriers.

    Getting around Columbus

    Once you've arrived, it's easy to get around Columbus. They have lots of options to get around the city from public transportation to car sharing services. Be sure to take advantage of CBUS, a FREE downtown Columbus circulator running every 10-15 minutes from the Short North Arts District to the Brewery District. There are stops just outside the Hyatt Regency.

    Airport Public Transportation

    The Central Ohio Transit Authority (COTA) provides direct bus service between the airport and downtown for only $2.75 using AirConnect. Purchase your ride pass with a credit card at the bus stop, which is just to the right of the taxi station. COTA's AirConnect service runs every 30 minutes, 7 days a week.     Airport Taxi and Ride Share

    A taxi between CMH and the hotel is approximately $23.00-28.00 one-way. Taxis and pick-up locations for ridesharing services are available on the ground transportation level of the terminal 24 hours a day.

    Airport Automobile Rental

    For traditional car rentals, there are eight agencies on site for your convenience. Check-in counters are located on the ground floor of the parking garage. More information can be found on the airport website.

    Parking at the Hyatt Regency Columbus

    Valet parking is currently available for overnight hotel guests at a charge of $28.00 overnight and $20.00 per day.  This includes in and out privileges on a 24-hour basis.  There is no additional fee on checkout day. Prices are subject to change.

    Parking Offsite

    Options include:

    • Chestnut Street Garage, which offers $18 overnight self-parking. The rate includes complimentary in/out privileges and is accessible to and from the hotel via enclosed and covered walkway. There is an option to charge your parking to your hotel room, and there is no additional fee on check-out day.
    • Convention Center Underground Garage. It is $11.00 per 7-9 hours of parking. There are no in/out privileges.
    • Convention Center East Lot (outdoor parking). It is $18 per 12-24 Hours. There are no in/out privileges.
